Amanda Liz Cutting- Actor, Director, Writer
An award-nominated actor and director Amanda Liz has been active in both professional and semi-professional theatre. She is currently the Artistic Director for Artists' Collective Theatre which under her leadership has become one of Calgary’s theatre company’s to look out for supporting emerging artists into the professional world. In 2017 she completed writing, directing, and producing a TV pilot and short film which will be released to specific markets. Recent credits both on and off the stage include Richard III and Macbeth (The Shakespeare Company), Rumors, Sorcerer and The Diary of Anne Frank (Morpheus Theatre), Peter Pan and The Last 5 Years (StoryBook Theatre), The Goat, Lonely Soldier, Fat Pig, Vibrator Play, and Arden of Faversham, Spring Awakening the Musical, Haunted House Hamlet ( ACT Theatre) Genesis: The Mary Shelley Play (ACT Theatre & DIY), Love potion #9 and Ella (Cowtown Opera) Co-Producer and Director of Canmore Summer Theatre Festival ( CSTF). Amanda Liz is a graduate from the Mount Royal Theatre Arts program, Grade 10, High Honors in Speech Arts (Royal Conservatory), and a certified Stage, Film fight combat performer, and attended Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London, England ( Shakespeare Intensive).
